Bloom Energy expanding near NUMMI plant in Fremont,CA

Hopefully more manufacturing jobs on their way in the Bay Area. Solyndra was a real disappointment when it went belly-up.

The interesting thing about Bloom is that it seems like it has good traction with some key customers like Google, eBay, Apple etc. The key for them is to figure out a cost structure that is favourable - I have heard both ways on their value proposition. I have added a link to an interesting article on why a drop in natural gas prices helps the fuel cell value proposition.
